The Hong Kong skyline as seen from the Star Ferry as it approaches the Hong Kong jetty. The Bank of China tower dominates this view, with it's criss-cross pattern. Despite it's striking lines it is an unpopular building because it's hard edges and decoration offend the rules of Feng Shui. It's the third  tallest skyscrapper at 70 floors. The "tallest"  accolade is currently held by the No 2 International Finance Tower, overlooking the Star Ferry terminals to the outlying islands, at  88 stories and 410 metres. In  February Hong Kong is always hazy, even on a sunny day, and the view from the ferry is directly into the sun being due south, so it's not that easy to get a good photo.
