At 8pm every evening there is a free light show with music - Las Vegas eat yer heart out! This is the view from the Kowloon Waterfront. The buildings pulsate with lights; lasers and search-lights dance from the roofs and two power stations have to be fired up to power it (probably!). To give them their due the buildings do restrain the lighting afterwards. Kowloon competes with Hong Kong, and we saw its attempt from the ferry terminal on our last night. It was a brave try but a pale shadow.
