This is taken at the end of the Legong Dance, performed most evenings at the Ubud Palace . To be a Legong dancer is every girl's ambition. They are not allowed to perform at the religious ceremonies after puberty, but they can carry on for the benefit of the tourists into maturity (thankfully). Although one knows about the huge physical demands made by this slow dancing, their sheer grace  is stunning. The costumes are just amazing. The bulk of the audience was Japanese.
