Along the beach is "Reef Seen", a dive centre run by an Australian, Chris Brown (smashing bloke), who had married a local woman and whose 5 year old son danced with the children at Taman Selini. He also runs the local Turtle conservation project. Local people collect the eggs and sell them to him for a better price than they would have gained from the local market. The project hatches them out and people can then sponsor a turtle for release into the sea. Our little chap made a good dash for the ocean.
We do hope he/she  made it!
