Even
on the "touristy" beach at Sanur, fishing boats were never far
away.
The character of the beach changes from time to time, depending
on
whether or not a "tourist" hotel fronts it. Not the best
swimming as the water is shallow. One of our most relaxed,
and interesting sojourns was on a Sunday when the local people
came to
fly their kites and bathe in the warm water, and lots of food
sellers appear. The barbecued corn
on the cob was a bit tough, though the chilli sauce compensated!
