A
common sight
on Highway 11 was the making (and transportation) of Cowpats. They are
still a hugely important part of life in this part of India as they are
an important source of fuel. Once dried (seen on the extreme left and
right drying) they are stored in a little block house till needed
(centre of picture). They sell for 3 rupees at market (about 0.04p
each).
