Las Vegas
(The Background is "Paris Resort")
It's just "Mad" and surprisingly beautiful in equal measure.

The distances between "resorts" are huge - each one is as big as the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Dudley! The Strip is 7 miles long - same as from  Birmingham  to Wolverhampton on the A 4123!

Our first 3 nights at the South Strip Tropicana exceeded expectations. £20 per night for the room! - beautiful garden and pool and  a surprisingly  relaxing oasis at Midday.
The Imperial Palace  at £26 a night for our last 3 has a brilliant location  excellent low price Buffet and 24 hour Bistro and an adequate if boringly  concrete rectangular Pool. Take sandals - you can't step on the concrete!

The Authorities want to build a City wide Monorail but until then the ones between some resorts are invaluable. The Buses are cheap and frequent. The little "Trolleys" between all the majorresorts are also cheap but  slow. DON'T cross the roads anywhere but at a proper crossing. We did near Stratosphere and were nicked for Jaywalking - 90$ fine! (each!!)
